A camping we will go, a camping we will go, hi-ho-the-dairy- o,a camping we will go!

Finally, Memorial Weekend, and our first camping of the season.  Scott & Angie gave us lessons on the pop tent trailer we bought from them.  Tim and Anna brought their puppies, Berta & Ernie.  Best of all those two little happy campers, Bella & Kate were there too!

We went to Bremen Woods which is some where between Willow River and Rutledge, MN. Three of my Nine siblings were there and some of their children.  My sis, Sandy is the camp manager there and has been inviting us for sometime now.  Below is a pic of my baby sister Wynee wearing her favorite Indian feather while doing Bella's hair....Bella are you sure you want her to do your hair?

We had a great time.  The weather was pretty good except for some thundershowers with pe size hail that fell on Saturday supper time.  Our excellent chef Scott did not let that stop him, and made us some awesome spaghetti supper, complete with parker house buttered buns and salad.  We had the best food all weekend.  But I will be the first to admit that Ms. Angie and Ms. Anna & myself are pretty decent cooks.
It was a great first summer vacation and I can't wait to head out to all the nearby state parks and do weekend camping this summer!

Happy Mother's Day!

Everytime I hear my children say "Mom" I realize how verry blessed I am.  This year we started celebrating Mother's Day early.  We went to Blaine and spent much of Saturday with Scott, Angie, and our two little angel grandgirls, Bella & Kate!  The weather was awesome, and so was the time spent with them.

We enjoyed the service at EB especially the message from Pastor Bob on "tying the knot" a sermon on marriage.   Angie and I made a trip to Eastside co-op...Oh if I would have had more money and more time....I sure wish you guys still lived down the road, so we could see you more often.  Although I admit it is really fun to go to the cities and explore all the wonderful places that Angie has discovered!

It never ceases to amaze me at how well my kids know me, and how thoughtful they are.  They are such wonderful people, each one of them with their own unique gifts.  I would feel so blessed just to know them.  To be their Mom is such a priveledge.....I Thank God every day for each one of you...Scott, Angie, Shaun, Colie, Anna, Tim, Josh, Bella & Kate.
