It's been a nothing-short-of-crazy-week at my workplace lately. Co-workers out ill with no subs. That's okay, Super Sherri will do both jobs. My Supervisor is burried in IEP and other meetings and trainings. No problem, we have....you guessed it...."Super Sherri".
Seriously, I am averaging 9,000 - 12, 000 steps a day on my pedometer. I just hit the day running and don't look back. Good thing the new meds are working and my thyroid is finally in the correct range, helping keep fatique at bay.
I spoke with Angie and realized I am not the only lady that needs a "Girl's day" and soon! I enjoy having my Mom here with us. That does not make being a full-time caregiver any easier. I enjoy not working the second job all the time, but miss the extra money. Also, now I have to work weekends to get my time in with the one person I still work with in my support staff position.
We are almost to March so spring is got to be soon, right?

Come on Spring!
This Chick has some serious spring fever going....In 4 more weeks I am going to turn my basement into a mini green house with shelfs full of germinating seeds and grow lights.
I am so eager to visit my garden, play in the potting shed, and yes, crazy as this sounds...to mow the lawn, all of it, which is about 3 of 8 acres!
I miss the warm breezes of fresh air wafting in the windows and the sweet sounds of the birds on early summer mornings. I plan on spending even more time outside this year and I'm so excited to try out camping...maybe a different state park every weekend?
The school year is half over, the days are getting longer and brighter again....and I am feeling the need to get my seeds and potting soil and get busy...I think I am going to go totally over board this year and maybe do some farmer market sales.

R&R
Went to the Doctor today to have thyroid recheck, and blood pressure check, found out I am still running a temp of 100. That was what it was last time 2 months ago? I still have some kind of infection, so I started z-pac(zithromiacin) good stuff, but got a major cleaning of the pipes from it, if you know what I mean.
So, the old gal is going to just do some R&R for the rest of the day and hopefully things will settle down some by tomorrow. On a brighter note the sun is shining and the weather is warming up. Come on Spring!
